GIS Aqua has finished the wastewater treatment plant in Nova Gradiška
GIS Aqua has been granted the contract for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Nova Gradiška, Croatia, in collaboration with two Croatian construction companies. GIS Aqua’s share of the contract amounts to around EUR 2.1 million.
The plant is designed for 23,600 PE. The project team oversaw process control as well as mechanical equipment. After several labour-intensive years, the operating license and takeover of the WWTP Nova Gradiška were finally granted in May 2023. The construction period lasted from 2017 to 2023.
